A perfect fit – the protective cover
The protective cover reliably shields MOON from wind and weather. Thanks to the drawstring with cord stopper, the cover stays securely in place - even on windy days. The water-repellent material protects your MOON from dirt and moisture, keeping it looking as good as new.


Embers safely sealed under the lid
With the stainless steel lid, ash clouds are a thing of the past, as you simply cover the glowing embers after the fire. This protects the remaining fuel from wind and weather and allows it to cool down in a controlled manner via the ventilation opening.

The sturdy stainless steel mesh adds an extra layer of safety by preventing larger sparks from escaping the MOON. At the same time, it still offers a clear view of the dancing flames - so you can enjoy your fire with even more peace of mind!

FAQ

What material is the MOON cover made of?

The cover is made of durable, UV- and water-repellent polyester with a PVC coating. The seams are extra sealed to ensure it remains permanently weatherproof and protects against rain, sun, and dirt.


How do I care for and clean the cover?

Clean the cover with lukewarm water and a soft sponge or cloth. Use mild soap – aggressive cleaning agents or high temperatures (e.g., in the washing machine) can damage the coating. Allow to air dry afterwards.


What is the MOON lid for?

The stainless steel lid protects the MOON, as well as any ash or embers after use, from the weather. It closes the fire bowl completely, keeping wind and rain out.


What is the difference between the lid and the cover?

Both protect against the weather. The stainless steel lid can also be placed on the still-warm MOON, protecting remaining embers, while the cover may only be put on when the MOON is cold. The cover fits over the lid.


Is the spark guard available for other höfats products?

No, the spark guard is currently available only for our MOON. There are no plans for a spark guard for our other fire bowls.


Does the spark guard fit under the cover?

Yes, the spark guard fits under the MOON cover. Please note that the spark guard does not fit underneath the MOON lid.
