ELLIPSE - The ideal centrepiece for cosy gatherings around a campfire. It offers enough space for everyone to feel the warmth of the fire. To protect the flames from a gust of wind, you can raise the fire bowl lengthways to direct the heat. Getting hungry? Hang the grill grid on the raised side edge and treat your guests to a delicious barbecue!
The perfectly geometric foot ensures that ELLIPSE is stable and secure. It also doubles as an ash tray for a quick and clean finish. Simply lift the fire bowl on one short side and empty the embers and ashes into the foot. Then close it with the inverted fire bowl and you're done! The embers are smothered and safely stored.
So you can enjoy it forever, ELLIPSE is made from 100% recyclable Corten steel. The robust metal develops a vibrant, unique rust patina that protects the material and ensures long-lasting enjoyment.

Can I store the ELLIPSE permanently outdoors, exposed to the elements?
Yes. The ELLIPSE fire bowls are made of Corten steel, which over time develops a unique and protective rust patina. Exposure to the elements can even accelerate this process.
Can water drain from my ELLIPSE?
Yes, by simply turning it upside down on its base when not in use, so that rainwater flows off instead of collecting inside. Since it is made of Corten steel, it can remain outdoors permanently.
Do I need to clean or maintain my ELLIPSE?
We only recommend removing cooled ash residues after use to increase its durability. Otherwise, the ELLIPSE does not need to be cleaned, as the Corten steel gradually forms a protective patina that shields it from the weather.
Is the fire bowl screwed onto the base?
No, the ELLIPSE is simply placed in the center of its base and not screwed on. The reason is that the base also functions as an ash container at the end of the fire: with the help of fire gloves, you can tip the hot embers into it and leave your fire safely and securely.
Can I place a cast iron pan or a Dutch oven on the grid?
Whether you can use your cast iron pan or Dutch oven on our ELLIPSE grid depends on the weight – the ELLIPSE grid can hold a maximum of 9.5 kg. Within this weight limit, your creativity knows no bounds.
