FRIENDS FOR LIFE
Finally temperatures are rising again! The energy of the sun is growing every day and we are looking forward to the first barbecue with our old college friends Anne and Karlos. We celebrate the reunion with a good glass of white wine. The Pinot Gris should go well with the fish, which my wife Mona is about to put on our CONE to celebrate the arrival of spring.
The smell of Mediterranean spices builds up the excitement of our spring lunch and brings back memories of holidays spent together by the sea. We promptly start making plans. We should definitely go on holiday together again! The fish are slowly turning colour, and the fine smoky aroma doesn't escape our dog Luna either: she looks at my wife with bis eyes as she carries the delicacies into the house.

The stepless height adjustment of the fire bowl allows you to regulate the heat easily and precisely. As simple as a gas barbecue - but with 100% BBQ flavour!
The delicious fish is not the only highlight at the table. Karlo brings the happy news that his daughter is expecting a child. The good fellow is going to be a grandfather! Yet another reason to raise a glass together: To life!
Spontaneously, I give Karlos a demonstration of our SPIN - my former university classmate is thrilled by the fire whirl in the glass, which he himself has been eyeing for a while. In action, the flame is even more impressive than in the photos.
Sunshine has been so scarce in the last few months that it lures us back outside right after lunch. We quickly turn the CONE into a fireplace with a few logs, so that Mona and Anne also join us. The opened lid reflects the warmth pleasantly in our direction and the fish in our stomachs calls for a cool beer. Good thing our JOHNNY CATCH wall-mounted bottle opener hangs right next to the patio door.
That' s how we let ourselves be caressed by the warmth of the fire, daydream about summer and share our ideas. Karlos is planning to build a multi-family house completely out of wood. That won't be an easy task, but at least I already have an idea for the housewarming gift.
