We have replaced the open gel fuel cup with the patented Bio-Burner, which uses advanced burner technology to produce a brighter, more distinctive flame with up to 33% more burn time from the same amount of liquid bioethanol.
This makes SPIN both more economical and more ecological, and with the optional Eco-Ring it offers the possibility to control the flame height and thus the burn time, increasing the latter by a further 50%!
All SPIN 900 | 1200 | 1500 tabletop fireplaces are already equipped with the Bio-Burner, but you can also retrofit your existing SPIN 90 or SPIN 120 with the new Bio-Burner 900 | 1200 and enjoy the new flame spectacle.

We wouldn't be höfats if we didn't care about sustainability. That's why the innovative and patented Bio-Burner is also available separately. You can simply remove the gel fuel cup from your SPIN 90 | 120 and replace it with the Bio-Burner 900 | 1200, including a new extinguishing lid.
All you have to do now is to switch over to the höfats liquid bioethanol fuel. The new Bio-Burner 900 | 1200 runs exclusively on liquid fuel and now burns even longer, cheaper and more fascinating with the same amount of fuel.
It's the fuel that counts!
With the new Bio-Burner we also introduce the new höfats bioethanol liquid fuel. This fuel is produced as usual from renewable biological raw materials and continues to burn odourless, soot-free and smoke-free.
Both höfats bioethanol fuels are intended for product-specific use. This means that the previous SPIN 90 | 120 can only be filled with the gel fuel (black cap). The new SPIN 900 | 1200 | 1500 and all SPINs retrofitted with the new Bio-Burner 900 | 1200 can only be filled with the liquid fuel (green cap).
Can I use the existing höfats bioethanol gel fuel for the SPIN Bio-Burner?
No, only liquid höfats bioethanol can be used with the SPIN Bio-Burner.
Can I upgrade my existing SPIN with the Bio-Burner?
Yes, the dimensions are exactly the same, the gel fuel cup can simply be replaced by the Bio-Burner.
Will my existing SPIN accessories be compatible?
Yes, all SPIN 90 | 120 accessories are compatible with the new SPIN 900 | 1200.
Can I use the new SPIN with Bio-Burner both indoors and outdoors?
Yes, all our SPIN tabletop fireplaces are certified for indoor and outdoor use.
Will the new SPIN cause soot on the glass?
No, there is no soot on the glass when using höfats bioethanol liquid fuel. The use of other fuels may cause undesirable soot deposits or excessive flame formation.
Can I use the extinguishing lid of the conventional SPIN gel fuel cup?
No. The extinguishing lid of the gel fuel cup does not completely extinguish the flame of the Bio-Burner. Please only use the supplied extinguishing lid with stainless steel cable to extinguish the Bio-Burner.
